We loved Cali's Dr. I believe his name was Dr. Knox. He was extremely thorough and really took his time to make sure we understood everything. You could tell he has a passion for animals and even took his time to make Cali feel safe and comfortable.
Dr Knox and his staff are the most caring people I know. I lost my cat recently. He was 16 and so deeply loved. When I received the flower and note my heart melted. Thank you for helping me also with my little Pooh Bear's teeth. He is now out of pain and his breath doesn't knock us out. You all know what you mean to me and my family. Thank you.

Love this clinic/Dr. Knox! It's a little hole in the wall type place. Aesthetically, not as impressive as other clinics, but as a result, the prices are way more reasonable than many other places. Above all, Dr. Knox is the reason to come here. He is very knowledgeable and caring, and keeps up with the latest, effective treatments and studies. I liked his approach in dealing with our dog's allergy issues. And then he patched up our dog wonderfully after a coyote almost had him for a snack. The staff is also nice and helpful. They also have Saturday hours. Highly recommend Dr. Knox!
I have driven from downtown San Diego since 2002 to bring my pets to Dr. Knox. We have been clients of Companion Animal Clinic since 1982. There is no doctor that I will trust with my pets or my family's pets. He and his staff are professional, caring, compassionate, and just an all around great group of people. I have zero to worry about when I leave my pets for surgery, routine exams, or random weird stuff (dog licking up battery acid after orange juice spilled on it, cat getting her rear leg "de-furred" by a rabbit, strange abscesses, masses, you know your all around normal weird stuff!
